Job Overview

Fine Tune is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to operate our newly launched Bill Payment service. Fine Tune has recently added bill payment services to our portfolio of services for our clients. This role will be responsible for managing and paying invoices for our clients. In addition, this role will have a hand in developing the bill payment program in general as we expand these services to all of our existing and future clients and add capabilities through our proprietary software system.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain and update account data base
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and payment files
  • Transmit payment files to 3rd party payment processor; process direct payments
  • Manage electronic ledger; ensure payments are posted and reconciled
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
  • Send bill reminders; contacting clients when necessary
  • Produce statements, ledgers, and reports as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of AP work experience with a proven track record
  • Intermediate-level Excel user
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work remotely in a space free from distractions
  • Accountable to yourself and your teammates
